WHO WE ARE
Discovering U is a Houston-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving educational and life outcomes for underserved students and families.
We address systemic barriers that limit academic success by strengthening family advocacy, developing youth leadership, and expanding access to essential skills. When families are equipped to navigate education systems, and students build leadership capacity and practical readiness skills, long-term academic and economic opportunity increases.
Through structured, community-based programming, Discovering U works to increase parent participation, improve student engagement and confidence, and strengthen pathways from education to post-secondary and career success.
